About us

This is a beta version of my business as I'd like to get more hands-on experience before I venture into an actual business. Currently offering free dog training for my friends only at this time. You must be my friend on Facebook to redeem this offer. No referrals, NO EXCEPTIONS!

To further my experience pursuing a career in dog training I am for a limited time offering to come to your home to work with you and your dog, for free! The best kind of learning is hands on, and while I've done lots of reading, seminars, going to school and having experience in a group class setting, I would like to focus with some 1 on 1 training.

Details: For the time being, this offer is only extended to my Facebook friends, so if you know somebody who needs help with their dog, sorry.

This is also on a first come first serve basis. Also in a limited area, primarily the South Hills area.

Also, there will be limited times that I can offer this. Primarily I will usually be available on weekends only.

No aggression cases! (No exceptions) Until I acquire more experience with aggression, I will not be working with your dog if it has any aggression issues. This includes dog to dog and dog to people aggression.

Payment: None! The couple times that I have already done this free offer people wanted to pay me something anyways, even if it's just a small tip. Instead of that, I ask that if you still insist on paying me anything, please take that amount and donate it to a local animal shelter of your choosing. If you're not sure where to, I can give you some recommendations. Even though this is free, I will still require you to sign my service contract/liability waiver.

Other details: The way it works is that I will be basically training you to train your dog. In most cases I will demonstrate with your dog as you watch, then I'll be guiding you as you do the work with your dog. The success level of your dog will be contingent upon the amount of time you practice between our sessions. Food treats will be used and clickers may be used too. This does not mean that you will need to be feeding your dog treats for the rest of its life, and there is no bribing involved either. The goal will be to wean your dog off the treats once a behavior becomes more reliable. The equipment you like to use with your own dog is your own business however during our training sessions certain items will be prohibited, this includes choke chains, pinch collars, e-collars, flexi leashes or any other item that I consider aversive or counter-productive to training.

The first session will usually be about an hour and a half, with any subsequent sessions being 1 hour in length.

I'm still learning this job and don't know everything about dog training, so I can't guarantee anything. If I don't know something, I'll tell you that and maybe offer to do some research on it for our next lesson.

Above all, I want everyone involved to have fun! This will set you and your dog up to better succeed. Remember, it's first come, first serve and this is only for a limited time.
